Tuition Rates 2026/2027

At Trinity Christian School, we believe investing in Christian education is an investment in the future.

Tuition Model

Our 2026 tuition model has been thoughtfully designed to reflect our unified JK–12 learning community while providing greater simplicity and transparency for families. Tuition is organized into three divisions — Elementary, Middle School, and High School — with one family tuition rate based on the grade of the oldest enrolled student. This approach creates a more predictable and accessible pathway for families as their children grow and learn within the Trinity community.

The tuition rate is approved at the May Society Membership Meeting for the following year. Tuition can be expected to increase each year by approximately 3-4%.

Tuition FAQs‍ ‍

What is Trinity Christian School's family-based tuition model?

1

Trinity Christian School's family-based tuition model charges tuition at the household level rather than charging full tuition for each child. Families pay one tuition rate based on the grade division of their oldest enrolled student. This approach makes Christian education more affordable for families with multiple children and provides greater predictability when planning for future school years.

When does the new Trinity Christian School tuition model begin?

2

Trinity Christian School is committed to making Christ-centred education accessible to as many families as possible. Tuition assistance, discounts, and financial supports may be available to eligible families.

Families are encouraged to contact admissions@trinitychristian.ca to learn more about available programs and to discuss their individual circumstances.

How is tuition determined for my family?

3

Tuition is determined by the grade division of your oldest enrolled child at Trinity Christian School:

  • Elementary Division (JK–Grade 5)

  • Middle School Division (Grades 6–8)

  • High School Division (Grades 9–12)

Once the oldest student's division is established, one family tuition rate applies for all children enrolled in the household.

Will the new tuition model save money for families with multiple children?

4

For many families, yes. The family-based tuition model is designed to reduce the financial burden of enrolling multiple children in Christian education. By establishing one family tuition rate based on the oldest enrolled student, Trinity provides a more predictable and affordable approach to tuition planning.

In addition, Trinity Christian School is a registered charitable organization, and a portion of tuition may qualify for a charitable tax receipt in accordance with Canada Revenue Agency (CRA) guidelines. This can provide additional financial benefits for eligible families and help make Christ-centred education more accessible.

Families are encouraged to consult with their tax advisor regarding the potential tax benefits associated with Christian school tuition.

Is Trinity Christian School a private Christian school in Barrie, Ontario?

7

The new family-based tuition model will take effect for the 2026–2027 academic year. All new and returning families will be enrolled under the updated tuition structure beginning with the 2026–2027 school year.

The new tuition model is a direct reflection of the unification of Timothy Christian School and Unity Christian High School into one JK–12 learning community: Trinity Christian School. As one school with a shared mission, leadership team, and campus experience, Trinity is introducing a simplified family-based tuition model that better aligns with our unified structure.

This approach creates a more consistent and predictable tuition experience for families as students transition from elementary to middle school and high school. It also supports the long-term growth and sustainability of Trinity Christian School while making Christ-centred education more accessible for families across Barrie and Simcoe County.
