Kindergarten to
Grade 2
We start teaching students to understand a Biblical Worldview right from Kindergarten. We use the Jesus Storybook Bible and the Dr. Craig’s “What is God Like?” series in the early primary years to help students understand foundational truths about the Biblical narrative, and the character of God. Students learn about how the entire Bible points to Jesus, and about Biblical concepts like the Trinity, God’s omnipotence, His omnipresence, His self-sufficiency and His goodness.
WONDER OF GOD’S STORY
Christian Worldview Curriculum Outline—Kindergarten to Grade 2. See the Bible as one true, unfolding story (from Creation to New Creation) that frames all of life.
KINDERGARTEN
One Big Story
Biblical Truths & Foundational Principles
-
God made us to be close to Him, like children with a loving Father. He wants to walk with us, hear our prayers, and help us every day.
-
Sin is choosing our own way instead of God’s way, and it breaks our friendship with Him. It’s like a big “keep out” sign that we can’t take down by ourselves.
-
God promised to send a forever King who would fix what sin broke. All the little stories in the Bible point to this King coming to save us.
-
Jesus died on the cross and rose again to forgive our sins. He tore down the “keep out” sign so we can come to God anytime, anywhere.
-
God gives us His Holy Spirit to change us on the inside so we can love like Jesus. The Spirit helps us grow together as God’s family, the church.
-
One day God will make everything new; no sickness, no tears, no fears. We will live with Him forever in a perfect home, and we can start sharing His love and care now.
GRADE 1
Who God Is (Part 1)
Biblical Truths & Foundational Principles
-
God made everything with purpose and design. Creation reflects His greatness, and people are intentionally created and deeply valued.
-
God is perfectly pure and set apart. His holiness calls for awe, respect, and a posture of reverence.
-
God’s love is unconditional and sacrificial. He pursues people, welcomes them back, and cares deeply for each person.
-
God always does what is right and fair. He stands against wrong, defends the vulnerable, and models true justice.
-
God is compassionate and ready to forgive. When people turn back to Him, He responds with grace, patience, and restoration.
-
God knows what is best and leads with perfect understanding. His wisdom guides how we live well and make the right choices.
GRADE 2
Who God Is (Part 2)
Biblical Truths & Foundational Principles
-
God has unlimited power over all creation. Nothing is beyond His ability, and He uses His power with care and purpose.
-
God knows everything, our thoughts, needs, and future. His complete understanding allows us to trust Him fully.
-
God is present in all places at all times. We are never alone; He is always with us.
-
God’s character and promises never change. He is steady, reliable, and always the same.
-
God has no beginning or end. He exists beyond time and offers lasting life and a relationship with Him.
-
God always keeps His word. He is trustworthy, consistent, and true in all He does.

Grade 3 to 5
As students develop a deeper understanding of the nature of God, they are ready to start to investigate the evidence for Christianity. Using J. Warner Wallace's Cold Case Christianity for Kids and God's Crime Scene for Kids, students develop their critical thinking skills as they learn about the evidence for the resurrection, and the evidence for God as seen in the origin of the universe. Students love playing detective as they learn about these concepts!
WONDER OF GOD’S STORY
Turn belief into Spirit-powered practices of love, service, discernment, and courageous witness.
GRADE 3
Christ and Truth
Biblical Truths & Foundational Principles
-
Truth is objective and discoverable. We ask honest questions, examine evidence, and pursue answers with both curiosity and courage.
-
Reliable testimony matters. We evaluate sources carefully, considering consistency, corroboration, and credibility, to determine what can be trusted.
-
Truth is preserved through careful transmission. The message has been passed down with integrity and can be traced with confidence.
-
All evidence points somewhere. We weigh the facts and choose the explanation that best fits the full picture.
-
Faith is not blind; it is grounded in reason. Belief grows from thoughtful consideration of evidence and truth.
-
Truth is meant to be shared. We communicate what we believe with clarity, humility, and respect in both words and actions.
GRADE 4
God and Truth
Biblical Truths & Foundational Principles
-
We test whether explanations come from within the system or require a cause beyond it. Careful thinking follows the evidence wherever it leads.
-
The universe had a beginning, which points to a cause outside space, time, and matter that was powerful, purposeful, and intentional.
-
The conditions for life are precisely balanced. This order and precision point to intentional design rather than chance.
-
Living things contain complex, meaningful information. Such information points to an intelligent source, not unguided processes.
-
Human thought, choice, and morality go beyond physical processes. People are more than matter, with inherent value and purpose.
-
Objectively, right and wrong exist. Our sense of justice and awareness of evil point to a moral standard beyond ourselves.
GRADE 5
Truth, Worship & Origins
Biblical Truths & Foundational Principles
-
Truth aligns with reality as God defines it, so we test every claim by who God is and what He reveals.
-
The Bible stands above opinions and trends as our final guide for what to believe and how to live.
-
Because the enemy twists truth, we stay alert to ideas that sound good but drift from Scripture.
-
Our hearts always worship something, and real freedom comes when our greatest love is God.
-
What we believe about reality directs what we honor most, so we examine each worldview with respect and discernment.
-
The complex, coded information in living things signals design and purpose rather than accident.
