EQUIP Conference 2026 Inspires Students to Defend Their Faith with Confidence
Trinity Christian School was honoured to host the EQUIP Conference 2026, a powerful day of learning, discussion, and spiritual growth focused on the important topic of Christian apologetics. Held on the Timothy Christian School campus, the conference brought together students, educators, church leaders, and guest speakers to explore how Christians can confidently understand, articulate, and defend their faith in today's world.
Throughout the day, attendees participated in engaging keynote presentations, interactive workshops, and thought-provoking discussions designed to equip young people with a deeper understanding of biblical truth and the tools needed to navigate challenging questions about faith, culture, and worldview.
Building a Strong Foundation of Faith
In a rapidly changing culture, students are often faced with difficult questions regarding Christianity, morality, science, and the reliability of Scripture. The EQUIP Conference provided an opportunity for students to engage these topics in a thoughtful and intellectually rigorous environment while strengthening their personal relationship with Christ.
Guest speakers challenged attendees to think critically, ask meaningful questions, and develop confidence in discussing their beliefs with grace and conviction.
Topics explored throughout the conference included:
The reliability and authority of the Bible
Evidence for the Christian faith
Responding to common objections to Christianity
Faith and science
Christian worldview and culture
Living out faith in everyday life
Learning Beyond the Classroom
One of the unique aspects of the EQUIP Conference is its emphasis on practical application. Students were encouraged not only to understand what they believe, but also why they believe it.
The conference reinforced Trinity Christian School's commitment to providing an education that integrates faith and learning across every subject area. By engaging students in meaningful conversations about apologetics, the event helped prepare them to become thoughtful Christian leaders who can influence their communities with wisdom, compassion, and truth.
A Community Committed to Christ-Centred Learning
Events like the EQUIP Conference demonstrate the strength of the Christian education community in Barrie and beyond. Bringing together students from various schools and churches created a unique environment where faith could be explored openly and authentically.
As Trinity Christian School continues to build upon the rich legacies of Timothy Christian School and Unity Christian High School, opportunities like the EQUIP Conference remain an important part of our mission to nurture students academically, spiritually, and personally.
Looking Ahead
We are grateful to the organizers, speakers, volunteers, staff, and attendees who made EQUIP Conference 2026 such a meaningful and impactful experience. The conversations started during the conference will continue to inspire students as they grow in their faith and seek to live out God's calling in their lives.
At Trinity Christian School, we believe that education is about more than acquiring knowledge—it is about developing a biblical worldview that prepares students to engage the world with confidence, courage, and Christ-like character.
