A Legacy United. A Future Inspired.

Today marks an exciting milestone in the history of Christian education in Barrie as we officially introduce our new name, new brand, and a shared vision for the future: Trinity Christian School.

For generations, families have trusted Timothy Christian School and Unity Christian High School to provide students with an exceptional Christ-centred education. Together, these schools have shaped thousands of young lives, nurtured strong faith foundations, and built a lasting legacy within our community.

Now, those two legacies come together as one.

Why Trinity Christian School?

The creation of Trinity Christian School reflects a natural evolution in Christian education for our community. By uniting Timothy Christian School and Unity Christian High School under a single identity, we are creating a seamless educational journey for students from Junior Kindergarten through Grade 12.

This new chapter allows us to strengthen collaboration, enhance student experiences, and build a unified culture that supports academic excellence, spiritual growth, leadership development, athletics, arts, and community engagement.

While our name has changed, our commitment remains the same: providing an outstanding Christian education grounded in biblical truth and dedicated to helping every student reach their God-given potential.

Introducing Our New Brand

Along with our new name comes a bold new visual identity designed to honour our past while looking confidently toward the future.

At the centre of the new brand is a modern and distinctive "T" logo, representing Trinity Christian School and serving as a symbol of unity, strength, faith, and growth.

The new brand combines elements from both founding schools:

The Lions mascot proudly continues as a symbol of courage, character, and school spirit.
Blue and gold colours honour the heritage and traditions that generations of students, families, and alumni have come to recognize and celebrate.
A refreshed visual identity creates a strong and consistent presence across our campuses, athletics programs, communications, and future facilities.

The result is a brand that reflects who we are today while positioning Trinity Christian School for the next generation of students and families.

Honouring Our History

The story of Trinity Christian School did not begin today.

It began in 1962, when Timothy Christian School first opened its doors with a vision of providing Christ-centred education to young learners.

It continued in 1982, when Unity Christian High School was established to meet the growing demand for Christian secondary education in the region.

For decades, both schools worked closely together, sharing values, families, and a common mission. The launch of Trinity Christian School is the next step in that journey—bringing two respected institutions together under one banner while preserving the traditions, memories, and achievements that have shaped our community.

Looking to the Future

The unveiling of the Trinity Christian School name and brand comes at an exciting time. As we continue to grow, we are focused on creating new opportunities for students through enhanced programs, innovative learning environments, expanded athletics and arts offerings, and the development of our future campus.

Our vision is to become a leading Christian educational community that inspires students to pursue excellence, serve others, and make a meaningful impact in the world.

Every student who walks through our doors will be encouraged to discover their gifts, deepen their faith, and develop the confidence to lead with purpose.

One School. One Community. One Future.

While the name on the building may be changing, the heart of our school remains the same.

We are deeply grateful to the generations of students, families, staff, alumni, churches, and supporters who have contributed to the incredible legacies of Timothy Christian School and Unity Christian High School.

Together, we now begin an exciting new chapter.

Welcome to Trinity Christian School.
